About the Bank

The First National Bank of Canadian was established on    March 7, 1892, and was originally known as The Canadian Valley Bank. The bank’s main office has been located on Main Street in Canadian all these years. We are proud to now be the oldest established bank in the Texas Panhandle.

In 1990, the Higgins bank was purchased and incorporated into our operation as a branch facility. We started the Canyon office in the summer of 2003.

We are a locally owned bank just as we have been for over one hundred years. Our goal is and always has been to provide the best professional and personal financial services.
